Amy is Mitchell’s older sister — older by two years. It’s Mitchell who gave her husband the nickname of Dork; he’s a corporate accountant and by Mitchell’s initial, uninformed judgment, boring as hell. Plus, if Mitchell didn’t give Amy a hard time, she’d check him into a mental institution.
Amy was the bookish Voss child. From the get-go, she knew she wanted to be a doctor, and everyone around her knew it. Anything else was icing on the cake, but Amy’s goal was medicine.
