Eric, ShapeShifter’s lead guitarist, is a bit of a mystery. Quiet and soft-spoken, he’ll often give hours-long interviews to guitar magazines, discussing not only his own music and techniques, but that of anyone else under the sun.
The son of a preacher man, Eric is the only member of the family who loves heavy metal. He’s actually the only one who gets it, but they all support him and the band regardless; his father performed Mitchell and Kerri’s wedding ceremony.
One of the things that sets him apart — other than his guitar work — is his attitude toward the women the band meets. Eric has a habit of forging relationships with them, bringing them on the road for a week or two until the initial passion burns out, and then maintaining a friendship with them. One day he’ll settle down, just as soon as he finds the right woman.
