Kerri is Mitchell’s woman, the woman who steals Trevor’s best friend away. An artist who came to Riverview to attend the Riverview Art Academy — one of the country’s top art schools — she never expected to wind up married to a rock star.
In fact, when she arrived in Riverview’s bus terminal, it was the drag queen community who sucked her in. A spare bedroom in a queen’s apartment in exchange for light housekeeping duties, and Kerri was mostly set. The queens wouldn’t let her go once they discovered her skill with makeup and hair, and soon, Kerri Broadhurst was the bell of the drag queen balls.
The gay community helped her support herself as an artist once she’d graduated from art school. Kerri was making quite the name for herself as a portrait artist when she noticed this hot guy in the grocery store with this long silvery-blonde hair that screamed musician. Expecting to encouter a fellow starving artist, Kerri instead discovered she’d struck up a flirtation with the very desirable Mitchell Voss.
She didn’t look back, although to this day, she misses her drag queen friends.
