1. Caveman (Daniel; Green Bay, Wisconsin; In Your Face era. Daniel said wearing the loincloth onstage was nice and cool, but it sucked walking around in the unheated backstage area.) 2. Hair Band (entire band; Riverview; pre-album contract days; hair spray alone cost more than the band made.) 3. Angel (Trevor; Nashville; Massive era. The halo was, of course, crooked and didn’t make it past the third song before he took it off and jumped on it.) 4. Vampire (Mitchell; Nashville; Massive era. Only Lestat should be a blonde vamp.) 5. Priest (Eric; Green Bay, Wisconsin; In Your Face era. Scary because it hit too close to home.) 6. Wolfman (Mitchell; Seattle; Hidden Fangs, Covered Claws era. Again, blondes shouldn’t be wolfmen. And the glue on all that wolf hair made his entire body break out in hives.) 7. Astronaut (Eric; Nashville; Massive era. Warm in the unheated backstage but too hot onstage. And that big helmet wasn’t good for getting girls.) 8. Geek (Trevor; Green Bay, Wisconsin; In Your Face era. Complete with taped-up glasses and pocket protector that some random girl made off with afterward.) 9. Cheerleader (Eric; Seattle; Hidden Fangs, Covered Claws era. He even shaved his legs for the occasion.) 10. Football player (Daniel; Nashville; Massive era. Man, those pads were heavy.) 11. Block of Cheese (Mitchell; Green Bay, Wisconsin; In Your Face era. Hey, it’s Packers territory!) 12. Mitchell (Trevor; Seattle; Hidden Fangs, Covered Claws era. The blonde wig came from Lyric‘s shop.) 13. Bunch of Grapes (Daniel; Seattle; Hidden Fangs, Covered Claws era. Stupid balloons popped.) Links to other Thursday Thirteens! |

Hmmm, I don’t think I’m smart enough to comprehend the whole Thursday Thirteen thing… (woo look at my alliteration)… Course, I also didn’t click on the links. I’m being lazy. BR/BR/So, is Caveman #1 that lovely classic with Ringo? HehehBR/BR/Oh, and you didn’t catch the right nano break down… it’s NaNoBlowME 🙂 who wants to Blow Mo? He smells bad!

The Thursday Thirteen stuff is sort of confusing, but if it’ll bring me new groupies, I’m all for it!BR/BR/Nope, Caveman has nothing to do with Ringo. ShapeShifter lives in an alternate, parallel universe that’s so often found in fiction. And last time I made a Beatles reference, I got met by blank stares. :(BR/BR/Good point about Blowing Mo. We won’t even get into the whole taste thing… *wink*

Figured you’d like that, Lauren. Like the bit about the halo? And Trevor going as Mitchell? *grin*BR/BR/Rash, *I’m* not blowing Mo. No way! I’m busy enough! (besides, the hubby posted this last night instead of today, leaving me totally mortified at the lack of proper Thursday posting for the Thursday Thirteen!)BR/BR/chaotic mom, this is fiction, so I have no clue what part of Green Bay. Got ideas? Clubs that existed in the late eighties-early nineties? Any favorite hangouts you want to see in fiction? I do requests!BR/BR/And to everyone else, thanks! You’ve helped make my first Thursday Thirteen a big success.

Hey, brony! Thanks for stopping by. And nope, the jokes never stop. Not around here, anyway; it’s more fun if they don’t.BR/BR/As for Halloween… I’ve got to admit, I’m one of those people who can’t think up a good costume to save her life. Thankfully, I’ve got this fictional band to guide me — at least where they’re concerned. My costume this year was a glow-in-the-dark Metallica t. Hardly out of the ordinary. 🙁

Can you guess which is my favorite costume? 😉 Mitchell dressed as a Block of Cheese of course. LOLBR/I would have loved to take a nibble out of him then. 😮

I wasn’t sure if you’d go for that one, or for Trevor dressed as Mitchell. Bet THAT was a sight!

Yep, Lauren, I have. I hope a lot of these new friends come back and become groupies. BR/BR/Penina, the type of cheese is up to your imagination, I suppose. But it IS Packer territory, there.

I was waiting for you to tell us that Trevor’s halo was being held up by his horns. =)BR/BR/I think the favorite costume of the neighborhood I trick-or-treated in was a stay at home mom, I walked around w/those soft pink curlers in my hair, noxema on my face, a bath robe and in slippers. BR/The people who gave out the candy or who were escorting their younger children loved it.BR/BR/I have been a hobo, a tourist (but confused w/a teenage mutant turtle), a vampiress, patsy from abfab, an angel, and I’m sure many more that I can’t remember.BR/BR/I think I’m the one that ran off w/the pocket protector. I was just trying to see what he was protecting. BR/BR/I think it should be edem cheese (not sure of the proper spelling or pronounciation but in the south we say, eatem) 😉

I’m calling you when it’s time to dress up next year, that’s for sure! BR/BR/I’m still not commenting on the cheese thing… *grin and a wink*

aww but I left that door wide open for you..and cheesy and others.BR/BR/oh i also went as jeanie (from i dream of).BR/BR/an black male that attended the party I went to when I dressed up as Patsy had a nice suit on and a generic eye mask and he kept telling everyone he was “Blackman” I thought that was hillarious. BR/BR/Edam…Edam…Edam…;)

You’re right, it was worth checking out Halloween. I react to the glue in bandaids, so I got a great visual of the glue. At least they didn’t dress as nurses – or French maids. (no offense to anyone intended, but I just couldn’t visualize those costumes)

Green Bay, Green Bay, Green Bay! That’s where they went wrong. No one would object in Madison.
