Featured New Book: Just Another Life by Meliha Avdic

Every now and then, someone comes along and does things their own way. Author Meliha Avdic is one of those people. Read on and see what I mean.

For instance, when I asked what song made her think of her book, Just Another Life, she sent me a link. No explanations, just the link.

And you know what? It makes sense. It really does.

Read the blurb and tell me what YOU think:

Only the extraordinary long for an ordinary life.

After a life lived, May learns how extraordinary an ordinary life is in the web of love and hate, sorrow and joy, friends and foes, good and evil, knowledge, understanding and ignorance, truth and illusion.

Hmm, huh? Intriguing…

But there’s more! Check out her buy links — definitely not what the rest of us are doing. And that, too, is different and very, very cool.

    Howdy Susan,
    Greetings from Texas
I am very pleased to tell you that I was one of Ms. Avdic’s early customers… book #14 purchased via EBay. “Just Another Life” is a compelling “read” to say the very least! May captured my imagination as well as my heart early on! Reading “Just Another Life” has been to me much like experiencing a superbly prepared multi-course banquet. Ms. Avdic’s writing style is one of the most “comfortable” that I have ever experienced. She has the wonderful gift of introducing complex concepts as well as facilitating very creditable discussions among her characters. The reader is magically transformed into “just another” patron in the River Cafe….hanging on every word of the dialog. I highly recommend “Just Another Life” to any reader willing to risk falling in love with May and her friends! You won’t be sorry and you won’t ever be the same again.

Love this new book review policy — I’d never seen this Nickelback video, and it’s pretty cool. Gonna check out the book. Thanks for your creative take on music and books!
